Wicca vs Witchcraft

A lot of people find it hard to separate the difference between Wicca and Witchcraft. Many people believe that they are the same. Wicca and Witchcraft in reality are different from one another. Wicca is a religion just like Judaism , christionity, buddhism or islam. While witchcraft on the other hand is a practice like praying, praising or meditating. Wicca is a newer religion that is a spiritual belief that was introduced to the public by Gerald Gardner. The supporters of this religion are called wiccans or sometimes witches or crafters. This may be why the confusion with people thinking they are the same thing. Wiccans as a religion have guardans they call watchtowers. They have what they call “calling the quarters”. These watchtowers will be put in each of the four compass directions. East, south, west, north In witchcraft they don’t call them watchtowers. A Witch Shall Not Judge Another Witch For The Rule Of Three

The controversial subject for the rule of three. This is one of the most highly contested subjects. Is the rule of three real or is it just something made up by wiccan elders to scare the newbies into submission? There are several different thoughts on the rule of three. The rule of three, also called the Law of threefold return, is given to newly witches in some magical traditions for the purpose to be cautious. It keeps people who just discovered wicca from thinking they have Magical Super Powers. It also makes a person think cautiously about not performing negative magic without putting some serious thought into the consequences. An early personification of the rule of three appeared in Gerald Gardner novel High Magic Aid on page 188 “When thou receivest good, So equally art band to return good three folds” This is the impression among new witches that there is a spirtual law that everything you do comes back to you. 2nd Myth about Tarot Cards

I covered the first myth about "You have to be gifted your first tarot cards" in a previous Podcast and Blog post. Now we are going to cover the 2ND MYTH!!!! You as a Tarot Reader can not read cards for yourself! This is SO FALSE!! Do Not believe in that Statement There is nothing wrong with doing a reading for yourself. How are you going to learn if you do not? Most Tarot readers do their own reading. I do a self reading for myself every morning just to get a perspective for how my day may go. They are usually 1 card reading. If the first card was not clear I pull another card. As a matter of fact if you are a newbie or a beginner . You will learn by reading cards for yourself, then you will move on to friends, family members and strangers. So yea you can do a reading for yourself. This is the time when the Autumn Equinox signals the beginning of fall. It is that point where just at the equator we have an even about of 12 hour light and 12 hour of darkness. The daylight hours are dwindling and that will continue to do so until we reach Winter Solstice the shortest day of the year and the start of winter. This is the time where the season changes to signal for the summer crops and its bounty comes to an end.

Witches' Companion Review

Llewellyn's Witches' Companion A Guide to Contemporary Living. I just have to do this book review. I do not feel that these books gets a fair look at by my witchy sisters and brothers. Every year a new one comes out with enrich, educational, written articles on different subjects. It is like a Farmers Almanac to a witchy world or a reader's digest full of witchy articles. Here are a few Article examples out of the 2020 Witches' Companion Book * Coven or Cult? Newbies to Tarot on picking out Tarot Decks.

I am just blogging on this subject today. I will not be going over it in a podcast. It has been a top question from those of you who are newbies or have a high interest in Learning the Tarot. My top advice when you pick out a tarot deck as a newbie is for you to pick out the deck that has the best art that speaks to you and that you can decipher it story from. If you don't understand where I am coming from about this. Pick up a Tarot book. It is going to have a definition for each card. It is eaiser to remember that definition if the artwork on that card speaks it. Word of warning. Once you get in to tarot you will not just have 1 deck of cards. You will end up with 3 or 4 decks and if you are anything like me you will end up collecting them and taking interest in learning Oracle cards . What are oracle cards? Been Lost In Time

 It has been almost a year since my last podcast. I had did my last podcast on Tarot Cards and shut down for quite a while. A lot of things had happen First the whole on going Covid pandemic, then right after I did the whole Tarot Podcast the whole fuss begin about  cultural appropriation. I probably spent to long thinking on that subject, I had a job that tired me out more and was ready to get rid of it, I had an Aunt on my mother side past away and I was really stumped with her death. She is the youngest of 3 sisters and I mean she was younger then my mom who is the middle child by 12yrs, My mother was the first sister to pass away, the youngest second, guess what the oldest is still living.  I usually make jokes and say the oneriest people live longer. They are on earth to live longer to learn something spiritual or have a spiritual awakening. Both my mom and younger aunt were so sweet at heart. I have heard these sayings before. Only the good people seems to be the one that passes
